Synopsis[]

When Henry sees Miss Battle-Axe and Mr Soggington in a compromising situation, he realizes he could turn it to his advantage - or can he?

Plot[]

In the house, Mum and Dad were taking Henry and Peter to dance class, but Henry was refusing to go by holding onto the handrail of the staircase and shouting he hates dancing lessons while Dad was trying to pull him off. Peter was practicing pointing his toes for Madame Tutu saying he loves dancing. Henry slides down, knocking Peter down and Mum catches him then she tells Henry to get in the car because they're late, but Henry said he's still not going there. Dad drags Henry and puts him in the car. He tries to sneak out the other way but Mum makes him get back inside.

When they got there, Henry was hungry, but Mum tells him to just be patient and Peter claims he’s dancing while waiting. So Henry walks across the hall when suddenly, he sees Miss Battle-Axe and Mr Soggington waltzing together in the ballroom which gives him an idea. Henry asked Mum for her camera and tells her it's for his homework or art project so she lends it to him. Henry walks inside and snaps a picture when Mr Soggington drops Miss Battle-Axe onto the floor as he rushes out.

Henry looks at it and was going to make a fortune but then Mum calls Henry inside and in the studio, Madame Tutu asks him to do some points as some girls were dancing in Pink Tutu along with Peter, making Henry scream 'Noooo!!!', opening the title card.

At school, Henry shows the photo to Ralph and they both laugh when Miss Battle-Axe comes and tells them to go outside as she walks away. Henry and Ralph suggested they should make copies of the photo. Henry tells Ralph maybe they won't show anyone because Miss Battle-Axe can't touch him which leads him AND Ralph to freedom.

In class, Miss Battle-Axe collects everyone's homework and Henry tells her he didn't do it because he was watching TV, so she gives him no break-time. Henry shows her the photo he took making her say that she'll let him off his homework just this once, making everyone look shocked. Ralph tells Miss Battle-Axe that he hasn't done his homework either because he was in dance class with Henry. The boys high-five and say they rule.

In the field, Mr Soggington tries Henry and Ralph to run 6 laps when Henry shows him the photo, and he decided not to make them run, leaving everyone else to run 5 laps instead. Miss Battle-Axe grabs Henry into the room interrogating him for the photo and Henry told her he gave it to Ralph but she didn't believe him so he pulls the other stuff he has. When Miss Battle-Axe fists the table, one of the objects (which happens to be a pocket rubber ball) bounces towards the light switch and Henry closes the door leaving her sitting on the chair in the dark as she yells 'HENRY!'.

Later, Miss Battle-Axe finds William inside who needed the toilet and tells him to go outside, this buys her enough time to look through Henry's locker without any witnesses. She goes through Henry's locker to find the photo but finds a drawing of him as a king saying 'Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah!' to much to her disappointment.

Miss Battle-Axe talks to Mr Soggington about this situation with flashbacks of other teachers even Henry’s parents seeing the photo and comes up with a plan to give Henry a taste of his own medicine. In the hall, Miss Oddbod announces they try something new today instead of choir practice then she chooses Henry and Ralph as dancing partners and they both start dancing wearing cowboy outfits and Miss Battle-Axe snaps a photo of them, sticks copies all over the corridor and strikes a deal with Henry, into giving her the photo and she'll destroy the others and tells him never tango with a teacher as a lesson.

That evening, Mum takes Henry and Peter to dance class again, but this week, Madame Tutu suggested they move Henry into another class much to his excitement and he hoped it would be judo, skateboarding or karate. Mum tells Henry it's ballroom dancing, but he finds Miss Battle-Axe and Mr Soggington waltzing together again inside. The three of them yell: 'Noooo!!!', ending the episode.

Characters[]

Trivia[]

  • This is the second episode to have three people screaming 'Noooo!!!' at the end. The first was "Horrid Henry: Happy Birthday Peter!".
  • Henry and Ralph's hats when they high-five are reminiscent of cowboy hats.
  • The scene where Henry clutches on to the staircase handrail, while Mum and Dad tries to pull him off looks similar to the first illustration of the story "Horrid Henry's Horrid Weekend".

Errors[]

  • When Dad drags Henry to the car, you can see that on the other side of the car, Mum wasn't there. When Henry opens the other door, she somehow appeared out of nowhere.
  • Also, when Dad drags Henry to the car, you can see that the ground appears to be dirt-coloured. When Henry opens the other door, the ground is now grassy.
  • When Henry opens the other door, the door is already open.
