Horrid Henry's Household Chores is the forty-sixth episode in Series 1 and the 46th episode overall.

Chores, chores, chores - what bores, bores, bores, but they must be done if Henry wants to hang out at Ralph's house, so he sets about them with his usual inventiveness. However, he soon discovers that more haste certainly does mean less speed.

The episode starts with Perfect Peter sleeping while Henry sneakily comes in. While Henry was changing the time by one hour backward, Peter said, 'Don't be horrid, Henry' to him. Henry then puts the clock back and goes downstairs. He turns the volume to maximum, turns off the TV and goes back upstairs.

When the alarm goes off in Peter's room, he decides to watch TV. However, the music from the TV wakes everyone up. Henry said to Mum and Dad that it sounds like Daffy and her Dancing Daisies. When they realize that Peter was downstairs, they both run downstairs to take him back upstairs.

When Henry's clock says 7:00, Henry runs downstairs to watch TV, only for Mum to say no TV until he's done all his chores. Henry screams 'Noooo!!!', opening the title card.

  • When Henry holds the sock, it's normal, but when it's on the floor, it is stripy.
  • Henry's clothes should've been bright blue not pink because his clothes weren't red. They're blue.
  • When Peter goes into his bedroom and the pile of rubbish collapses on him, it is much taller than it was when Henry originally emptied the bins and moved the pile into Peter's bedroom.
