"Horrid Henry Meets Mr Tiddler" is the twenty-third episode in Series 4 and the 179th episode overall.
Synopsis[]
Peter finds out that his favourite author lives just down the road; Henry has to turn to a writer to stop things from going wrong.
Plot[]
The episode started one evening in the living room where Dad was watching TV, Mum was knitting and Henry was reading his comic when Peter comes in and says he's ready for his bedtime story. Mum tells Henry it's bedtime but he protests saying it's not and that he's never goes to sleep the same time as Peter while the reporter talks on the telly. Peter asked if Mum wants to read his story and she said 'Of course I do, sweet chicken" much to Henry's confusion. Fed up, Mum angry tells Henry 'Upstairs Now!' and he yells "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" opening the title card.
During the night, Henry got stuck reading The Story Of Mr Tiddler to Peter and asked the audience if they can believe it but he skipped to the end and goes to his own room to sleep while Mum takes over for him. Henry
The next day, Henry comes home with school whereas he almost got peed by Tiddles the dog and into the kitchen where his family have got decorations, fairy cakes and party streamers. At first, Henry thinks the women in the picture looks like Ms Tiddler. Peter has a chance to meet a famous author to show his own story, but a problem occurs: Peter and Henry find out that and Ms Tiddler is the author's twin sister and wants them to change it a bit, but she'll send it to her twin sister. Peter was ready for his bedtime story again and Mum tells Henry it's bedtime but she and Dad were surprise to see Henry head out of the living room with Peter.
That night, Mum and Dad were even more surprised as they watch Peter read Henry his bedtime story called Mr Piddler, a dog couldn't help weeing people's legs because he was the horridest dog in the whole wide world. Henry chuckles and winks to the audience ending the episode.
