Synopsis[]

Everyone Henry knows except Henry himself has lost a tooth. How is he going to lose a tooth? He tries many different things, but they didn't work.

Plot[]

Henry is playing cowboy with Peter, then Peter said it's his turn to play cowboy, but Henry then said he can play it on his birthday which is 5 months to go. Peter suddenly notices his tooth became loose and spits it out. The tooth shines, making Henry look shocked. Peter tells Henry he's going to put it under his pillow so he can get money from the tooth fairy and was lucky because he lost his tooth before him. Henry then screams, 'Noooo!!!', opening the title card.

In the kitchen, Peter shows Mum his tooth as Henry gets jealous and says that it's not fair that everybody except him has lost a tooth to the audience. When Peter said he's going to make a copy for Mum, Dad, and all his friends, Henry turns into a dinosaur and tries to eat the camera. Mum then stops him. Peter said he's going to put the tooth in an envelope for the tooth fairy. Henry snaps the photo and didn't care if Peter was ready or not.

In his room, Henry tries to move a tooth, but it wouldn't and thinks his teeth are super glued to his gums. He then goes to the kitchen and says to the audience that everyone knows the more sweets they eats, the quicker their teeth rot. He begins to eat two jars of sweets. After he eats them, he tries to move a tooth, but it doesn't work.

At school, Henry borrows a toffee from Ralph and puts it in his mouth, but he's having trouble opening it so Ralph helps him out. The boys pulled the toffee, but it didn't work. Then Bert appeared with toffee on his head looking cross, so Henry tries to get Bert to punch him in the mouth and knock a tooth out, but that doesn't work either as he gives the toffee back to Henry and walks away. Then Ralph kicks the ball at Henry hoping that would get his tooth out, but it didn't work either and he picks him up thinking his save was brilliant. Henry tells the audience only one tooth is all he needs.

That night, Henry then steals Peter's tooth and puts it under his pillow, but the next morning, he finds out that Peter has got a pound instead of him, which means the tooth fairy tricked him. After talking to Mum, He then realized that he needed a gap in his teeth, so he borrows one of Margaret's Dracula teeth that she used on Halloween, but in return, he had to be her servant. He then puts a black paper on top of his tooth then puts the fake tooth along with a thank you note inside the envelope and under his pillow. Henry ties string to his finger, seeing the envelope getting taken but finds Fluffy not the tooth fairy and he throws her out of his room. Fluffy then goes to the window sill and presses the remote controlling the sky. In the morning, Henry finds a rubber pound coin not a real one and a note that says, 'From the desk of the tooth fairy: nice try, Henry!' from the tooth fairy. This note means that the tooth fairy tricked him AGAIN and he scrunches up the note then throws it as Mum keeps calling him to come down now twice. Downstairs in the kitchen, Mum asks Henry why are both the sweets jars empty. He tells her it was Fluffy, but Mum knows it was him and she bans him from sweets for a month. Henry tries to convince Dad but he suggest making the ban time from sweets for two months. After saying it’s not fair, Henry asked Mum what is he going to eat between meals and she gives him an apple much to his dismay. Henry bites into the apple and his tooth becomes loose meaning he will finally get real money from the tooth fairy and show it the kids at school too. Henry takes another bite, but then he accidentally swallows his tooth and then screams, 'Noooo!!!', ending the episode.

Trivia[]

  • Bert acts tougher and more like a bully. However, he does not mean any harm towards Henry, instead offering back the toffee that Henry had flung.
  • This episode is the first time that Henry and Ralph are shown to be friends.
  • This is the first episode of which the title card contains 'and the'.
  • This episode shows us that Henry hasn't lost any teeth yet.
  • The tooth fairy is shown to be smart enough not to fall for Henry's tricks.
  • When Henry says that Fluffy ate the sweets, he looks to his left (our right). It is known that if you look to the left first, you're most likely lying.
  • This episode marks the first time Henry shouts 'Noooo!!!' at the end of the episode, marking the first time that an episode has a bad ending in airing order.
  • This episode does not really have any evidence for or against the tooth fairy's existence in the Horrid Henry universe, considering it's unclear whether Peter's coin, Henry's rubber coin and Henry's note were genuinely from the tooth fairy or dealt out by one of Henry's parents. It certainly has no evidence for whether she exists in the real world either.
  • This is the first time the school makes an appearance in airing order.
    • This is also the first episode where the school appears with no teachers in airing order.
  • Prime Video incorrectly titles this episode as Horrid Henry Tricks the Tooth Fairy, the same name as the book.
  • The reason Henry eats the sweets after saying his teeth are superglued to his gums is because the word gums reminded him of sweets.
  • Rude Ralph's name is revealed in this episode.
  • Innuendo: When Henry says he knows a way for Peter to "earn" more money, it is probably suggested that he would knock and beat Peter's face to make him lose more teeth.

Errors[]

Henry arms error

Henry cannot get enough of the copy-pasted experience

Henry nose error
  • When Henry says "And if you were to punch me in the mouth and knock my tooth out, I wouldn't even mind! I swear!" his nose has an outline for a single frame, and his arms and shirt appear to be copy-pasted over each other so it can look like he has four arms.
  • When Henry complains that he's the only one who hasn't lost a tooth, it is daytime outside. After Henry lists the people he knows who've lost teeth, it's night-time.
  • It is unlikely Henry would fit inside the kitchen drawer because it's too small for him to hide inside it.
  • When Mum asked Henry why both of the sweet jars are empty, the fridge is missing.
  • When Peter tells Henry to come downstairs and to look at his tooth, for a few frames his crocodile slippers disappeared.
  • When Henry yells "The Tooth Fairy tricked me!" his bed is unaligned.
    Unalignedbed
    Crocodileslippersgone
  • When Ralph said, 'Brilliant save, though.', the toffee on the grass had disappeared.
  • When Henry turns into a dinosaur, the table disappears.
  • For a second, when Henry is talking to Bert, Henry's neck turns yellow.
  • When Henry comes into Peter's room to take his envelope with his tooth, it looks like the door to Peter's room is on the side of a corridor.
